Speech Therapy at The Talking Place may look different than what you see elsewhere. Our holistic approach includes highly tailored and relevant treatment goals and methods. We provide a wide variety of treatments in the area of communication, and we specialize in stuttering, cluttering, articulation, apraxia, expressive/receptive language, and literacy. We treat children and adults, ages 2 - 64, with a client-centered and solution-focused approach.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available for non-speech-therapy clients who need support in reading and/or spelling but do not have a diagnosed language disorder. Please contact us if you have questions about the difference between speech therapy and tutoring.

Consultations

Consultations are provided to practitioners and to organizations looking for consults and trainings related to clinical coaching practices, fluency disorders, and stuttering assessment and treatment.

Sheila Cina is the founder of The Talking Place. She is a speech therapist who is passionate about helping her clients communicate more comfortably and more effectively.
